The winter Wonder Festival convention will be upon us in just a few days and as the tradition here is to not write a post about it, we will instead take a quick look at a dakimakura cover. This one is by Yoshiaki Katsurai, an artist perhaps most famous for his erotic doujinshi, which are published under the circle name Basutei Shower. He’s also known for his contributions to the character designs of Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai (officially translated as “So I Can’t Play H” but occasionally rendered “So I Can’t Have Sex With Her” or “So I Can’t Fuck Her!”). The particular character presented here is Kanane Kurashiki, one of the main characters in the manga Kurohaku Black Rubbers, which is a volume of the larger series Kokuhaku Lovers.
As Kanane’s story begins, she is a high school student and the president of the student council. However, on the very first page she appears in, she gets knocked out and wakes up only to find out she’s chained up and being molested. Things go downhill for her from there; in subsequent chapters, her sister Mitsune is kidnapped and raped along with her, and eventually both give in to their captors, getting strapped in bondage and becoming enthusiastic sex slaves. The end! I don’t actually like this sort of story all that much – I like it better when the girl shows more spirit – but it’s an extremely common theme in all forms of ero anime culture, so it’s not too surprising to see it used here.
This pillowcase is distributed by Wani Magazine, the publisher of the magazine that Kokuhaku Lovers was serialized in. They started selling dakimakura covers last year and their upcoming lineup shows a few more from other reasonably well-known artists. The manufacturer is A&J, who handles a large amount of dakimakura cover production, and the pillowcase measures the usual 160 centimeters by 50 centimeters.
The front side shows Kanane dressed up for her big day, or somesuch. Somehow she’s wearing three layers of clothing – panties, garter belt, and bondage harness – on her hips despite showing a large amount of skin.
This side isn’t as extraordinarily explicit as one might expect, given the content of the original source.
The reverse side also shows a front view of Kanane. She’s shed a few articles of clothing but kept her bondage harness.
She’s also flashing a winning smile while her hair goes transparent in the way it often does in anime.
Her harness is really nice. I don’t remember her breasts being quite this large in the manga, though.
A strategically-placed finger once again reduces the explicitness of this pillowcase. I’m not really bothered by that; I think the suggestiveness is cute.
I do think she’d look better with her thighhighs pulled up rather than having them bunched around her shins, though.
So, overall, I think this is a very nice pillowcase. While I don’t care too much for the plot of the original story, I do like the bondage theme shown here, particularly in conjunction with the bridal veil. It is too bad that her sibling Mitsune did not get a pillowcase of her own, though.
The Kokuhaku Lovers manga also shipped with a CD containing some spoken word tracks; you can listen to Kanane’s voice (and that of the other characters) on the official site.
Sounds like the random hentai setup XD
I recently watched one (Kanojo ga Mimai ni Konai Wake) where the boyfriend was hospitalized after an accident and the girlfriend had to pay the bills after being blackmailed by others.
The anime looked kinda cute at first, well actually I mixed up the titles (that’s the problem when choosing shows based on .gif) and got it by chance.
In each part the story was told in a slightly different version, where the boyfriend also was molestered by a) his ex – girlfriend, the horny nurse b) a rich wife.
The second version totally escaleted and I thought “man you was fooled by another shitty ntr”, but the last version had a great, partially hilarious twist and a fullfilling happy end,
for the girl at least. I was so surprised that I laughed for a few minutes. Ah yeah the girlfriend was damn pretty.
In general in don’t like mean hentai in an human world setting, I prefer fantasy settings these are always better, when horny monsters are added, monsters are cool XD
OT ftw
This pillow cover is not so my thing, I would be happy to be able to draw like that, but it’s not so elaborate compared to others I’ve seen here.
The proportions feel a little off, she appears older than she is supposed to be.
Ah, I think I remember that show. Yeah, I’m not a big huge fan of NTR and I’m puzzled as to why it’s such a big thing in ero anime culture. I also don’t like games or situations where the girls get killed. I remember there’s this line in Sengoku Rance where the protagonist muses that girls are a precious national resource that need to be treasured, and that’s kinda how I feel about characters in such shows.
I’m also a little curious as to why there’s so little yuri H anime out there; I kinda thought that yuri was always a big popular thing, but perhaps not.
Hmm. She’s a lovely lady. I like the big breasts and see-through bra, but something about her torso/leg proportions seems off.
It might be because her breasts are so large. They really aren’t that large in the manga; at least, I don’t remember each of them being the size of her head.
I like big oppai. Did you order the daki directly from the Wani store or through proxy/Mandarake? Ordering dakis hurts my wallet so much but it feels so good.
I used a proxy service, though I think the other one (Suzuka, I think her name is) was listed on Mandarake when I checked recently. I don’t actually know if Wani would take international orders and I didn’t check. Looking at their policies page, they don’t seem to say that they wouldn’t take an international order, but it doesn’t look like they have any provision to support foreign customers, either.
Im new to the site, why don’t you talk about wonder festival
Mainly because I don’t really care to talk about figures that might be a year or more away from release. Also, everyone tends to talk about the same stuff, so you just go from site to site and everyone has their Wonder Festival posts up (or at least, they used to, back when there were more figure review sites) and you see the same photos (cribbed from the people who actually attended) over and over.
